12+1+1 Critical Strikes
12 Scythe Mastery
Something like:
[Way Of The Master]
[Critical Eye]
[Critical Agility]
[Aura of Holy Might]
[Asura Scan]
[Mystic Sweep]
[Eremite's Attack]
[Wounding Strike] or [Reaper's Sweep]
Basically, maintain enchantments for IAS and lots of critical hits/big dmg from your scythe.
Spam attack skills.
If you take [Critical Defenses] your survivability goes up quite a bit, but you are still very vulnurable in areas with lots of enchantment removal. Your role is still a sin's, do big damage, not tanking. And yes, ppl still use this combo, it is still quite effective and damage goes through the roof in areas with undead like Shards of Orr.

Yes, for damage A/D is way better then D/any.
Survivability is also great for A/D. Both A and D have 70 base armor and [[Critical Agility] gives you the maximum possible armor boost of 25. And there is always the option to bring [[Critical Defenses], which beats anything a D has to offer.
I usually run:
[Reaper's Sweep][Mystic Sweep][Eremite's Attack][Critical Agility][Critical Eye][Way of the master][Aura of Holy Might][Critical Defenses]

What they said above basically.
You really do get some lovely numbers, you can always swap out Crit Defenses or Crit Eye for Asuran Scan or Pain Inverter aswell, (Unless that'd be more than 3 PvE Skills, can never remember if the elite counts as one ^^)

I normally run something like megavolti's above because my sin doesnt have [asuran scan]. I also prefer [reaper's sweep] to [wounding strike] because of more damage...in hm, I find that bleeding is worthless and enchantments can be a pain in the rear so reaper's sweep is better for me

I gotta say when i was looking for an elite for my bar, I didnt go with the usual scythe elite. If you run assasins promise and split ur attributes up a little more, you still do over 100 dmg each hit but when the guy dies you have all your skills again and you have full energy. It is the way to go i believe when it comes to the crit scythe. I will post my build later today when i get a chance.

You shouldn't have energy problems with critical strikes.
Your attack skills recharge in <5 seconds and your enchantments are maintainable. Why do you need the instant recharge?
I prefer Wounding Strike for the shorter recharge. With Asuran Scan, Wounding Strike, and 3 Discord Necroes, targets die in ~3-4 seconds.

Gotta agree, there are no e-management issues with these builds. You might as well go with an elite scythe attack. I prefer wounding strike myself but I suppose reapers is alright.

Thanks for all the responses, any suggestions for what to put in my armor on this build?

Gee.. it must be an AMAZING build...
anyway, here's mine: [wounding strike][mystic sweep][brawling headbutt][critical eye][aura of holy might][way of the master][critical agility][dash]
Anything goes in the brawling headbutt slot tbh, I just like to be able to interrupt certain things.
And for the armor it's simple: go full health with crit headgear and crit rune.
Some PvE players prefer the armor while attacking, which is fine in PvE I guess.
